Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of AtTheTable (the “App”), a party game application published by an individual developer (the “Developer”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the App.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to lawfully use app stores in your country or region, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to use the App.
If you are under the age of 13, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Use of AtTheTable
The Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the App, or use it in any way not expressly permitted by these Terms.
Entertainment Purpose
AtTheTable is provided for entertainment purposes only. It is not a source of professional advice, and any decisions, statements, or results that occur during play are the sole responsibility of the players.
The App does not create any binding legal, financial, or other relationship between players.
User Conduct
You agree to use the App in a lawful manner and to respect other players and the Developer. You may not use the App to harass, defame, or harm others.
The Developer is not responsible for content created or shared by users during gameplay, which is produced locally on your device.
Game Content and User-Created Content
The App includes built-in word lists, themes, and prompts. You may create custom themes and word lists for your personal use.
Custom themes and word lists are stored locally on your device. AtTheTable does not upload, publish, or share user-created content with anyone, and no user-generated content is publicly visible.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, design, artwork, text, and branding, is the property of the Developer or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not use the App’s name, logo, or artwork for any commercial purpose without the Developer’s written permission.
Third-Party Services and Advertising
The App may display advertisements provided through Unity LevelPlay, an advertising mediation platform, and its advertising partners Unity Ads, ironSource, AppLovin, and Liftoff Monetize. Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies, and the Developer is not responsible for them. Unity’s privacy information is available at https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy, AppLovin’s at https://www.applovin.com/privacy/, and Liftoff’s at https://liftoff.io/privacy-policy/.
Availability and Changes
The Developer may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. The App is provided free of charge and no specific level of availability is guaranteed.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
The App is distributed free of charge; accordingly, the Developer’s total liability arising out of or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero).
Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time.
The Developer may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, the sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
Changes to These Terms
The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the App and at https://atthetable.netlify.app/terms/. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
